‘les Jardins sothys™’ have inspired a base of fundamental research, and implemented a partnership with the university of Limoges in order to study local flora for its potential use in sothys cosmetics exclusively.
 

Research at Les Jardins Sothys™ has already unveiled the unique hydrating active


VMA™ (Vegetal Moisturizing Activator™), featured in the products from the beauty Garden® line.
 

The skin is protected by an hydrating mantle that it is necessary to safeguard against environmental aggressors and premature ageing. vma™ is at the heart of an active complex including three powerful hydrating components: extracts of cherry buds, angelica and hawthorn combined with vegetal glycerin to protect the skin and prevent dehydration.

Science and Gemmocosmetic

Inspired by herbal medicine and homeopathy, Gemmocosmetic is a natural science using buds and new shoots to reap their valuable constituents. Hawthorn contains polyphenols, flavonoids and phenolic acids. The extract of hawthorn, obtained from the flowers, has antioxidant and de-stressing properties and is used in the products from the Beauty Garden.
 
 Vegetable glycerin
 

Combined with extracts of angelica, hawthorn and cherry buds,

it fights dehydration with its moisturizing action on the skin.

 

Organic Helianthus oil
 

It contains essential fatty acids and has been selected for its special (see explaining zoom) properties. It provides Beauty Garden® products with moisturizing and lipid protection properties.
 

Omegas & Benefits
 

Omegas are fatty acids (from the lipid family). These are found as the basic constituents of cell membranes and are important to prevent the skin from becoming dry and / or sensitive. Some omegas are called essential Fatty Acids, because the body does not know to make them ( ie they are essential to be obtained from food, supplements, or skin care ... ). Omegas participate in the communication between cells. They prevent the formation of wrinkles and help to combat stretch marks. They also have an anti-uV and anti-inflammatory activity and assist in the transport of fat-soluble vitamins. They are found in sunflower oil (helianthus), flax, evening primrose, borage, fatty fish, wheat germs, nuts and almonds.
 

Skin benefits of omegas in helianthus oil:
 

=> Omega 6, linoleic acid, gamma-linolenic acid, helps prevent inflammatory and allergic reactions, they also fight dehydration and skin ageing.

 Rosemary and Lavender essential oils
 

These enrich the range with their sweet and delicate fragrance. Rosemary essential oil has anti-wrinkle and revitalizing properties, while Lavender oil brings relaxing properties to the range.
